Good fun, a few hiccups

We booked the Virtual Trivia for a team happy hour last month. The game itself was engaging and our host was energetic, which really helped keep everyone involved. Value-wise, it felt pretty good for the price. The only small issue we had was with the initial setup instructions; they were a little unclear, and we had to reach out to customer service to clarify a couple of things before the event started. They were quick to respond, though, which was good.

Another solid event

This was my third time using Go Game, this time for an In-Person Pub Crawl in Chicago. Like the last two, it was well-organized. The host met us exactly where they said they would, and the activities at each pub were fun and kept the energy up. My team always enjoys these events, which is why I keep coming back. Consistency is key for me, and they deliver on that. I've used them for a Virtual Escape Room before too, and that was just as good. It's a reliable choice for team events.

Fun activity, easy to set up

I set up the Virtual Happy Hour for my team. The booking process on their site was straightforward. We got a confirmation email right away with all the details. The host was ready on time and guided us through everything smoothly. Everyone on my team had a good time. It was a nice break from our usual virtual meetings. No complaints at all, really. Will probably try another one of their virtual games later this year.

Okay, but a bit pricey

I booked the In-Person City Scavenger Hunt for a small team outing. The activities were decent and we saw some cool parts of the city. I thought the cost was a bit high for what we got, though. The instructions were clear, which helped.

So much fun!

We did the Virtual Game Show for our company's end-of-quarter celebration, and it was a blast! Everyone was laughing and really got into the competitive spirit. The host was amazing and made the whole experience fantastic. I was worried it would be awkward virtually, but it totally wasn't. Definitely doing another one of their games soon!

Hey, wondering if anyone has used their custom virtual experience for a company holiday party. We're a pretty big team, like 200 people. Do they actually tailor it or is it just a re-skin of one of their regular games?

S Steven K. 1 month ago
Yeah, we did a custom one last year for about 150 folks. They worked with us on themes and even integrated some inside jokes. Was pretty seamless.

My team used them for a smaller custom event, maybe 50 people. They were pretty good about listening to what we wanted. I think it depends on how much detail you give them up front.

Are their 'virtual escape rooms' actually good? I've done a few from other companies and they were kinda lame, just clicking through powerpoints. Looking for something genuinely engaging.

I thought theirs was actually pretty solid. We did the 'Bank Heist' one and it had actual puzzles and interaction, not just static screens. Way better than some others I've tried.

Yeah, they have hosts which makes a huge difference. Someone's actually guiding you and keeping the energy up. It's not just a solo thing.

Thinking of booking an in-person city scavenger hunt in NYC for my team. How far in advance do you really need to book these things? Our ideal date is like 3 weeks out.

S Susan T. 1 month ago
For NYC, 3 weeks might be tight, especially if it's a popular time of year. I'd reach out to them ASAP to check availability. We booked our in-person one like 6 weeks out to be safe.

Depends on the group size too. Small group? Maybe you get lucky. Bigger group? Probably need more lead time.

What's their cancellation policy like for virtual events? My boss is super indecisive and I'm worried we'll book something then have to bail last minute.

A Ashley Lee 3 weeks ago
They have a pretty clear policy, but it depends on how close to the event you cancel. You probably won't get a full refund super last minute, but maybe a credit or partial. Check their site for the exact cutoffs.

I had to reschedule once, not cancel. They were pretty understanding about moving the date without much hassle. Cancellation is probably tougher the closer you get, afaik.

Anyone know if you can stack discount codes here? Got a first-timer one, but also saw a seasonal promo for holiday events. Trying to maximize the savings for our virtual happy hour.

L Linda Wright 1 month ago
Nah, I tried that once. Doesn't work. It's usually one code per booking, from what I've seen.

Pretty sure they say in their terms that you can't combine. Most places are like that unfortunately. Pick the best one!
